Inspite of all health facilities provided by the state,yet a part of the population
is unable to avail these facilities.
CAUSES-Are manifold like-
(1)Illiteracy & poverty deprives them of their rights.
(2)Female patients especially in rural areas are the most neglected
population in the society.
(3)Because of improper communication, poor public don't avail
then.
ROLE OF MOBILE SURGICAL UNIT-
(1)Here mobile surgical unit with all its trained staff & modern
equipments reach them & give them free services at their
doorsteps.
(2)The poor public who cannot dream of coming to nearby health
centres are priviledged to get diagnostic,therapeutic &surgical
treatment.
(3)This unit is well equipped with sonography,laboratory,X-rays,
&E.C.G. machines & provides these services free of cost.
O.P.D.-
- Gynae OPD mainly comprises of patients of infertility,dysfunctional
uterine bleeding,pelvic inflammatory diseases,fibroid uterus,ovarian
tumors,uterine prolapse,genital malignancies &antenatal care.
-Prevalence of big fibroids was seen in Phalodi,Jogniamata&Jhalawar
area,while,prolapse cases &malignancies were seen in Sitabaari &
Atru area.
TREATMENT-
(1)Gynae department of MSU is doing abdominal &vaginal
hysterectomies at mass scale.
(2)Removal of ovarian cysts & tumours.
(3)Diagnostic laproscopies & D&C are done in patients of
infertility&chronic abdominal pain.
(4)Medical treatment to the patients suffering from P.I.D.&
infections and dysfunctional uterine bleeding is provided.
FUTURE-
The unit plans to introduce the operative laproscope for abdominal
hysterectomy and removal of ovarian cysts and tumours.
